AIDA Cruises has put its winter 2028-29 programme on sale, with sailings from October 2028 to April 2029. They range from new Caribbean routes to 50-day voyages from Germany to Brazil.

AIDA Cruises has opened bookings for its 2028-29 winter season, which runs from October 2028 to April 2029. The programme includes new Caribbean itineraries, long roundtrips from Germany to Brazil and Mauritius, and cruises in Southeast Asia, Australia and the Canary Islands.

The line said in a press release that sailings on AIDAnova, AIDAperla and AIDAmar will go on sale later. It added that a world cruise is planned for AIDAmar.

New Caribbean and Central America itineraries

AIDAprima, AIDAdiva and AIDAbella will sail in the Caribbean this winter. Itineraries will start from La Romana or from a new departure port, Santo Domingo, both in the Dominican Republic.

AIDAbella will run a 14-day "Caribbean and Central America" route linking Caribbean islands with Mexico and Central America. Calls include Cozumel, Belize City, Roatán, Puerto Limón, Colón and Cartagena. Other routes go via Jamaica to the Cayman Islands, and to the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

AIDAdiva will offer 14-day itineraries to Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia, among other places. Cruises to the Lesser Antilles will visit Dominica, Martinique, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Antigua, Sint Maarten and Tortola. Different itineraries can be combined into 28-day cruises, so guests can see several regions on one trip.

Sailings from Germany

AIDA highlighted two "Great Winter Break" itineraries on AIDAluna. The 27-day "Canary Islands & Azores" cruise leaves on 5 November 2028. It calls at Dover, several Spanish ports, Agadir in Morocco, Madeira and the Azores before returning to Hamburg via Dover and Skagen.

The 50-day "Brazil for Carnival" cruise leaves Hamburg on 8 January 2029. Guests spend three days in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival. The route also includes Maceió in eastern Brazil, a new port of call for AIDA.

AIDAsol will sail longer voyages to Mauritius from Warnemünde, lasting 41 to 55 days. They call at African ports including Walvis Bay, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Maputo.

New Year's Eve in Thailand or Madeira

AIDAstella will sail in Southeast Asia and Australia. A 14-day roundtrip from Singapore on 21 December visits Thailand and Malaysia, with New Year's Eve spent off Phuket. The Australian programme adds Exmouth, on the west coast, as a new port.

In the Canary Islands, AIDAcosma and AIDAluna will run New Year's Eve cruises, with fireworks off Madeira. Depending on the itinerary, these call at Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Madeira, Morocco and ports on the Spanish Atlantic coast.

AIDAluna turns to Norway

AIDAluna will also sail to Norway from Hamburg. A 12-day cruise leaves on 27 February and a 14-day cruise on 11 March 2029. Calls include Tromsø, Alta, Bodø and Trondheim.
