Track cruise ships
Cruise ships broadcast their position through the Automatic Identification System (AIS). These services show it on a map.
Tracking services
- MarineTraffic (opens in a new tab). Live AIS map of ships worldwide, with vessel pages, port calls and a free tier. Detailed history and alerts are paid.
- VesselFinder (opens in a new tab). Live AIS map with vessel details, port arrivals and departures. Some data needs an account or subscription.
- CruiseMapper (opens in a new tab). Cruise-specific: ship positions, itineraries and deployment by cruise line.
These are independent services. We are not affiliated with them and we do not store or display live vessel positions. A ship's position can lag by minutes, and some ships switch AIS off in sensitive waters, so treat a map as a guide, not a guarantee.
