MSC Cruises announces one-off 3-night mini cruise from Southampton on MSC Meraviglia

MSC Cruises has announced a one-off mini cruise from Southampton on MSC Meraviglia next May. The 3-night sailing departs on 26 May 2027 and calls at Zeebrugge in Belgium and Cherbourg in France.

Prices start from £440 per person. Bookings open at 10am on Tuesday 20 October 2026.

Where it goes

Zeebrugge, Belgium. MSC describes Zeebrugge as Belgium's most important fishing port, with long stretches of wide, sandy beaches and the Seafront Maritime Theme Park. Bruges is a short drive or train journey away. The line points to the medieval city's winding canals, cultural heritage, traditional lace, local beer and chocolate shops.

Cherbourg, France. Guests can visit the weekly food markets, the maritime museum La Cité de la Mer, or the Emmanuel Liais public park. MSC also suggests Manufacture le Parapluie, a quirky museum that pays homage to the umbrella.

Why MSC is doing it

Antonio Paradiso, VP of International Sales at MSC Cruises, said: "This will be our only short cruise from Southampton next year, and the first time that MSC Meraviglia will sail from Southampton in 2027, so we are expecting it to be extremely popular."

He added that it is "the perfect introduction to cruising for new-to-cruise guests", ideal for people who prefer a no-fly holiday or simply want a short break, and "great value too".
